NRL scientists find high prevalence of antibiotic resistance in Kenya

(Naval Research Laboratory) Antibiotic resistance is one of the most significant global public health problems in many developing countries. NRL, working with researchers in the Republic of Kenya, discovered a high prevalence of antibiotic resistant bacteria in the East Africa nation due to over-use of antimicrobial agents.
